Hogwarts Legacywill release in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Windows. In very surprising news, Warner Bros Interactive will apparently not be showing three of its biggest upcoming releases during its upcoming E3 2021 stream. Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 1800s and will allow players to create their own character and go on to learn spells, attend classes, explore a large open world, tame beasts, and master combat abilities.

The game itself looks to be visually stunning with plenty of customisation options and things to explore.

After receiving a late acceptance letter to Hogwarts, you come to realise that you possess unusual abilities related to ancient magic. Players will experience Hogwarts as a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. It's not clear if this was due to the departure of Leavitt, or if the game simply needed more time for polishing and improvements. Interactive had made the tough decision to delay the game until 2022.
